DimplesPlayLand-The 3s*

When the Kids were fighting over who should take a picture from my PHONE! ;p

On Friday, me & a group of girls signed up for an Event called Dimples Playland for our P.E.A.C.E club where we had to go to a day care center and play with the kids and keep them entertained. Each person decided what group age they wanted to play with and I went with the 3 year olds because they're still very young and innocent, but it was amazing how they were really outgoing especially when they saw new faces that they weren't used to & opened up really quickly. We all thought that they would have a different reaction and would be shy but as soon as they saw us they wouldn't let go of us and wanted us to either read to them, push them on the swings till they felt sick, or as simple as helping them finish an alphabetical puzzle. Most of the kids don't have any siblings or parents and they just needed the comfort of an adult and someone they could talk to. It was a really great experience and I had fun coloring, singing, and playing around in the park with the kids. Looking back, they were great children & the chance to make a difference and help someone has a great impact on your life & makes you want to have other similar opportunities. I appreciated every single minute and would do it all over again if I could :)!

MyKingdomAwaitsMe*

Bahrain Fort is better known as the Qal'at al-Bahrain. The archaeological site of Bahrain Fort is made of an artificial stack that has been created by the local people who inhabited the place. These people used to reside in Bahrain from 2300 BC up to the 1700 AD. In earlier days, Bahrain Fort used to be the capital of the Dilmun civilization. More recently, Bahrain Fort in Bahrain has functioned as a Portuguese fort. The wonderful architecture and the historical importance attached to the edifice of Bahrain Fort have made it a World Heritage Site. The honor was given by UNESCO in the year 2005.
Bahrain Fort is spread across an area of 180000 square meters. The structure of Bahrain Fort in Bahrain is an evidence to the fact that the place has witnessed presence of human beings from It is a typical tell - an artificial mound created by many successive layers of human occupation. The strata of the 300x600-metre tell testify to continuous human presence from around 2300 BC up to the 1700 AD.
The excavation works around the layers of the fort have revealed different kinds of structure, which include military, religious, commercial, public and residential structures. The Bahrain Fort is one of the major Bahrain Tourist Attractions and an indispensable part of Sightseeing in Bahrain. I took these pictures while I was back for the holidays & many Bahrainis don't know much about it's history and what a great Kingdom it is, wanted to share these photos & the History behind it. It's a beautiful area and everyone should at least see one of the forts of Bahrain and learn about the history behind it.

TheChocolateFestival*

All made out of Chocolate!

The best Festival I have ever been to in my entire life was the Chocolate Festival that i attended a week ago. Who could ask for anything better than to be surrounded by everything made out of pure chocolate!! Bakers all around the world attended the festival and they all were amazing and had great ideas with their decorations and how to present their chocolate! It was one of the best experiences and I had a taste of every thing there not kidding and I couldve still ate some more. My favorites were the nutelle & strawberry crepe, the cupcakes, the cookies, and dipping the marshmallows & strawberries into the chocolate fountain.
