This weekend we had the Gasparilla Pirate Fest Parade!! Its very popular in Tampa and it only happens once a year. Its a pirate theme and everrryoonee dresses up like pirates, and trust me most of the people were in costume. It was a public event and there were half a million people there! The parade was really fun and they had over 90 elbarote floats, 14 marching bands, and over 50 distinct Krewes! The floats had people throwing beads to everyone and I collected over a 100!! After the parade ended after a couple of hours, there was a concert in the park and they were playing some really good music and it was just so different and the city was filled with people. It was a great experience and hopefully next Gasparilla is gonna be even better!
